On Sunday I had a walk around Thorndon Country Park North and saw four Nuthatches and two Treecreepers, lots of Coal Tits and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
With the weather being so good, sunny and warm the park was extremely busy with many people out walking their dogs as well as lots of young families. Popped in to the visitor centre and was disappointed to learn that not only do they not keep a note of recent sightings but very few birdwatchers now visit the site!
