On Saturday I traveled with members of Havering RSPB Local Members group to Titchwell on the north Norfolk coast. We left Romford at 7.30am and after a few unexpected diversions we arrived at the reserve around 11am. The weather was looking good with some blue sky and sunshine as we headed through the reserve towards the beach.

| Brent Geese There were good numbers of Brent Geese around mainly of the dark-bellied form and around twenty species of wading birds some showing very well. It was great to get the chance to compare Bar and Black-tailed Godwits close up. |

It was a great day with lots to see and among good company. The next trip is to Pulborough Brooks another RSPB reserve this time in Sussex.
