Finally spring migrants are arriving at Mayesbrook Park, this afternoon I had my first Sand Martins (3), Sedge and Willow Warbler. Also at least four of each Chiffchaff and Blackcap singing. Also might have found a site mega in a Pink-footed Goose, I have visited the site 29 times so far this year and not spotted it before. It is associating with the Greylag Geese and at times is quite aggressive towards them. It could well be a wild bird and probably the Fairlop bird. Shall have to see how long it stays, if it is wild it's migratory instinct should kick in soon, fingers crossed.
