Probably the first time in four years we have woken up to a covering of snow and it was still snowing as I made my way to Rainham. I parked in the small car park at the east end of the landfill site and walked east, a pair of Stonechat were feeding beside the seawall footpath and always stayed a safe distance ahead of me.
